Neodymium flexible magnet is a high‑energy magnetic material made by compounding rare‑earth NdFeB powder with a flexible rubber matrix (such as NBR, CPE, or PVC) through extrusion or calendering. It retains the process advantages of rubber magnets – bendable, cuttable, and die‑cuttable – while delivering magnetic performance far superior to conventional ferrite rubber magnets.

Q: What is the difference between neodymium flexible magnet and ordinary ferrite flexible magnet?

A: Magnetic strength. At the same thickness, neodymium flexible magnet has 2–3 times the surface field of ferrite, and 5–10 times the energy product. It is suitable for industrial applications requiring higher magnetic force in a more compact space.

 

Q: Can I drill holes or screw into a neodymium flexible magnet?

A: Pre‑punching during manufacturing is recommended. Field drilling may damage the magnetic powder layer, causing local field reduction or edge cracking.

 

Q: Will this magnet be damaged in an oily environment?

A: The standard CPE matrix is not oil‑resistant. Please choose the NBR (nitrile rubber) matrix grade – it has good resistance to mineral oils and hydraulic fluids.

 

Q: What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

A: Standard rolls (fixed width): 1,000 metres. Custom die‑cut parts: 5,000 pieces (new tooling). Special matrix (e.g., NBR oil‑resistant grade): 1,000 m² or equivalent value.
